The establishment of a gardening committee has seen some significant changes and improvements to the Clubhouse environment. The committee recently canvassed donations from club members and the response was overwhelming, with more than $800 raised.
Several working bees have been held, leading to a number of improvements such as placement of concrete edging along garden beds and planting of shrubs.
The most significant improvement has been the establishment of a row of ornamental trees along the northern fence-line, with inclusion of an automated watering system for them. These trees will act as a partial substitute and replacement for several large Eucalypts that were blown over during a strong wind storm late in 2020.
Thanks go to those who have given their time to this worthwhile project, or who have provided donations to fund it.
