Announcing a new series of seven free lessons . . . .

Take the Bridge Challenge……

The club offers an active teaching program for people wishing to learn Bridge or improve their skills. Our next formal program will start on Sunday 28th February 2021, but new players are welcome to join our program every Tuesday evening. Be at the club at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start. The sessions will be finished by 9:00pm.

Now that Covid 19 restrictions have been eased, it is time for Bridge sessions to carefully resume. Volunteers recently spent several hours preparing the Club rooms in lower Mitre St, to ensure all safety provisions are in place for the resumption of Bridge. A Covid-Safe Policy will be strictly followed.

The Bathurst and District Bridge Club plays duplicate bridge, the most popular and competitive variation of the game. Pre-dealt boards are used, and scores compared, to earn master points as members of the Australian Bridge Foundation (ABF).

New players are offered seven free lessons. They are encouraged to purchase Paul Marston’s Introduction to Bridge. The book can be purchased online for $19.95 + $8.20 postage, or from the club for $20.

The clubhouse provides a friendly, social environment and is located at the bottom of Mitre Street. Supervised Bridge is available to new players to prepare them for joining the regular bridge sessions held on Monday and Friday mornings, and Wednesday evening. On the second Sunday of each month there’s an informal afternoon of Social Bridge.
